Power A Spectra Controller Driver
Buy Spectra Illuminated Wired Controller - Microsoft Officially Licensed for Xbox One / Xbox One S / Xbox One X. Even if it has to be set again each time the controller gets power. It feels solid enough in my hands, and doesn't feel cheaply made. PowerA do not supply drivers for the controller, and unless your PC is already set up to use. Re: PowerA Spectra Xbox ONE controller doesn't interface. So it seems as though I may need to use an old version of the xpad driver, before the initialization code was updated my Microsoft. Will test when i get the time.

I uninstalled the drivers and downloaded the drivers from Microsoft's website. It seemed to install, but then when I plugged in the controller, it tried to install the drivers off the controller again, which then again failed.
I read in a previous thread about updating Windows, but that didn't help, either.
Can anyone help me?
Note: Your Xbox One controller needs to be connected to your PC through the micro USB cable for PC gaming.
